After 25 years of being a devoted wife, mother, rancher, and jewelry designer, Julia is spreading her wings and returning to one of her first creative loves—painting.

She’ll be in space #11, embracing the energy of “painting in public” within the shared art room. A true Gemini with a touch of ADHD, Julia brings a colorful cast of inner voices to her work. She paints her dreams, emotions, thoughts, and the way music makes her feel. Music is her muse, along with the natural world, and she hopes those inspirations come through in her expressive abstract canvases.

As she likes to say, “I know what a bowl of fruit looks like—but I don’t know what my thoughts and emotions look like. That’s why I paint them—out of my head and onto the canvas.”
