I’ve always loved art and the outdoors, and my life has been a mix of both for as long as I can remember. Since the late 1990s, I’ve worked as a graphic designer, art director, artist, and ski instructor.

My design career started in New York City after graduating from Syracuse University with a BFA degree in Communication Design. I worked at Seventeen Magazine, helped redesign Barbie packaging, and later moved into pharmaceutical design. Eventually the mountains called, so I packed my bags and headed to Jackson Hole to live the ski bum life—while continuing to do design work.

After a few moves over the years, I now live in Durango, Colorado with my husband and our two awesome kids. We spend as much time outside as possible—mountain biking, skiing, fishing, camping, and just enjoying the outdoors.

In the winter I teach skiing, and in the warmer months I coach women’s mountain biking classes with Durango Devo. I’m also available for private lessons if you reach out ahead of time.

Lately I’ve been focusing on my watercolor work at The ArtRoom Collective in the The Smiley Building. I share a studio with over 20 talented artists, and we sell our artwork there—including paintings, jewelry, ceramics and mixed media. Feel free to stop by and say hello!

I also take commissions for custom pieces—fish, birds, bugs, landscapes, ski goggles, or anything else that catches your imagination. Some pieces are painted on paper, and others are painted directly onto small wood panels.
